Join Philadelphia’s 19th-century food expert Becky Diamond as she demos an easy recipe for homemade pickles. Learn about Abby Fisher, a former slave, famous for her award-winning pickles. Though Fisher could not read or write, she wrote and published a cookbook in 1881. Attendees will receive a recipe card with Abby Fisher’s pickle recipe and the modern version.
